Give a Treat to Someone Sweet is a fun and meaningful way to spread kindness while supporting our Annual Fund.

How it works: When you donate to the Annual Fund you have the option to choose a treat to send to a Hixson student. These options will be available until 10:00pm on February 10th. Treats will be distributed to students on February 12th.

Will All Students Be Included? Yes! All students will have the option to choose a special treat during lunch on February 12th. Students can also visit the Sweet Shop to write a message to post to the Kindness Wall. 

What is a Kindness Wall? Students will create messages of kindness that will be displayed on a large wall for everyone in our school community to read and share!

How Will Students Get the Treats? If you donated a treat, the student you selected will receive a note or ticket in their locker on February 12th. They can redeem tickets at the Sweet Shop near the auditorium during lunch on February 12th. Please remind your student(s) to check their locker BEFORE LUNCH ON FEBRUARY 12th!

Is There a Minimum Donation to Give a Treat? Yes, the minimum donation to purchase a gift, carnation, or send a note is $5. Send hixsonmiddlepto@gmail.com a message if you would like an alternative option to participate. 

What If I Don't Have a Student at Hixson, But I Want to Participate? Select the Initiative Support Donation to donate a treat.

What If I Want to Purchase Multiple Treats for A Student? You can add multiple items to your cart. For example, if you want to give a carnation and a card, select both items to add to your cart. If you want to purchase multiple cards for multiple students, add each item separately to your cart.

Can I Make A Recommendation for Next Year? Great news! The Hixson PTO is always seeking volunteers. If you have an idea for improvement and would like to help with next year's campaign, please reach out to hixsonmiddlepto@gmail.com.
