Hixson PTO Programs & Events

The Hixson Middle PTO supports a variety of programs and events throughout the school year designed to build community, celebrate students and staff, and enhance the middle school experience.

Our PTO participates in and supports:

• Welcome events for incoming 6th grade parents & students
• District community events
• Special community-building and connection events for parents and caregivers
• Grade-level student social events
• School-hosted social, student educational enrichment, and parent/caregiver community events
• Staff Appreciation initiatives like "Stock the Lounge", Parent-Teacher Conference Dinners, Teacher Appreciation Week events, monthly expressions of gratitude, holiday gifts, retirement celebrations
• Student-Teacher Mini-Grants to fund classroom supplies, enrichment activities, technology needs, student health and well-being, etc.
